To make a change to the emails generated by the form.
https://www.loom.com/share/d3cdeaee1edb4d28bde5a1dc8775a41b
- Log in to the [email protected] account.
- Go to the form
- Make the change you want. Usually this has been to the What date (Mon-Fri) would be best for you? field. When you've made the change, copy the exact wording because this label is the field name used in the emails.
- Now, click on the jigsaw piece at the top to see addons.
- Select Email Notifications for Google Forms
- Select Manage Form Settings
- There are two emails, stored under Rule #1 and Rule #2.
- Rule #1 is the acknowledgement letter that goes to the client.
- Rule #2 is the notification email that goes to the academy.
- To change the text of a mail (you'll need to do this once for each mail)
- Go to the rule you're changing and select Edit.
- Scroll down to the email template and on the selected template select edit.
- For formatting reasons, the acknowledgement email is HTML and the notification email is visual.
- Find the field label between two curly brackets {{}}, eg {{What date (Mon-Fri) would be best for you?}} and make the change, save the mail and then save the rule.
- Once this change is made to both mails, it can be tested.
